SECOND ANNUAL CO-ED BULLDOG SOFTBALL BASH

Entry Fee: Tournament Times:

$20.00 (if paid on or before Nov. 18th) Friday, Dec. 12th 5:00 pm-11:00 pm

$25.00 (if paid between Nov. 18th and December 10th) Saturday, Dec. 13th 8:00 am -9:00 pm

(3 game guarantee)

Home Run Derby

Saturday 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

($5= 5 swings)

CONCESSIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE

TOURNAMENT RULES:

Play will start when horn blows or instructed by tournament director

Length of game is 50 minutes. (Drop-dead rule applies when horn blows. Complete the play if already in

motion.)

Batting order must be boy/girl, or an out takes place each time the order is missed.=

Maximum of 10 players on the field defensively. Must be equal number of boys as girls on the infield and

outfield at any time. NO EXCEPTIONS! There is a minimum number of 10 players to play. Every team must

bat boy/girl batting order and fielding positions on the infield. Any team falling below 10 players may recruit

from another team, but still must have equal boys and girls to play. Must follow boy/girl batting and fielding

order, or will FORFEIT the game. It is the responsibility of the team to ensure enough eligible registered

players for each game. All decisions by tournament staff are final. There are NO PROTESTS!

Only two (2) homeruns (over the fence) are allowed per game per team. Any HR after that is an automatic out

unless HOMERUN MULLIGAN HAS BEEN PURCHASED ($10 each) AND PRESENTED TO UMPIRE

BEFORE START OF GAME, team chooses to tell umpire they will pay the $10 after the game and a total is

kept. Teams without MULLIGANS can buy them during the game as well, but must pay immediately following

the game or forfeit the game.

Line-ups must be to scorekeeper then (10) minutes before the game

Standard Co-Ed slow pitch rules:

o Slow pitch w/5-8 ft. arc (this is meant to be a hitter’s game)

o No lead-offs

o Sliding is allowed

o NO metal cleats

o ANY bat is allowed

o Foul ball on 3rd strike is an OUT

o If a boy is walked, the following girl has the option to walk or hit

o NO BUNTS. Automatic strike if attempted

No equipment will be provided except for game and warm up softballs

The count for each hitter automatically starts at 2 balls and 2 strikes

The final score is whatever the score is at the DROP-DEAD time, regardless of how many times each team has

batted

In case of a tie, we will refer to the International Tie Breaker. Rules to be posted.

There is a limit of 7 runs allowed per ½ inning

PLAYERS MUST BE ON THE ROSTER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY; ROSTER CHANGES MUST BE

APPROVED BY COACH D. WESTMORELAND for eligibility and CONNIE THORNELL to ensure payment and

liability waivers are complete.
